StarApril 23, 2007 - Thornton Veterans Memorial Legislative Steering Committee Introduces Resolution. Working with our Legislative Steering Committee, a resolution was introducted in the Colorado legislature asking for Colorado Lottery funds to be used for the construction of veterans memorials. This resolution was introduced by Senator Lois Tochtrop (District 24) and Representative John Soper (District 34) with support from the rest of the committee including Mike Coffman, a combat veteran and Colorado’s Secretary of State, as well as Representatives Judy Solano (District 31) and Representative Edward Casso (District 32).
