September 9, 2006 - Thornton Harvest Fest Photo Album. The Thornton Veterans Memorial was proud to help the city of Thornton celebrate its 50th anniversary by participating in the Harvest Fest parade. The Military Vehicle Collectors of Colorado were very gracious in lending us a hand and were able to show up with 13 classic and modern military vehicles for our entry in the parade. Needless to say it made a very impressive display and we greatly appreciate their support!

After the parade the Foundation had a tent in the Festival where we were able to talk to a lot of folks in the community about the project. Of course the highlight was almost certainly the Denver Broncos Cheerleaders who made an appearance in support of the memorial.
